I. Lynd Esch Society

A Conversation with Dr. I. Lynd Esch

Before graduating, all ICC seniors were invited to schedule an interview with President Esch. During that conversation, President Esch took care to educate students about how they had benefited from the generosity of alumni and about the obligation that they now shared to maintain that support for the institution and for the next generation of students.

The University of Indianapolis maintains the legacy of Dr. I. Lynd Esch through the Esch Society, our premier giving-recognition level. Esch Society members have generously included the University of Indianapolis in their estate plans. The individuals who make this type of ultimate gift are answering Dr. Esch's challenge by providing needed funds for the institution's endowment and other designated areas.

When you include and notify the University of your estate intentions, we are able to establish guidelines that will guarantee that your gift is used how you intended. It also provides us an opportunity to express our gratitude on behalf of the students you are helping.

Finally, your estate intentions could qualify you for a naming opportunity in the addition and renovation to the Esch Hall building if you so desire. This is an appropriate tribute, both to your generosity and to the legacy of Dr. Esch.
