Stan and Amy Zent
Stan '62 and Amy '58 Zent live the motto of the University, "Education for Service." Both education majors, they lived their lives teaching. Their teaching careers with the Department of Defense took them around the globe to such places as Thailand, Iran, and Alaska, to name a few. As teachers they serve others by helping the less fortunate in the inner city of Indianapolis. They spend many hours helping international students get around Indianapolis and helping them prepare for their driving exams. Through their estate, their legacy will live on through an endowed scholarship and with the naming of a room in Esch Hall.

Dennis Reinbold
An Indianapolis native, Dennis Reinbold grew up less than a mile from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. After
graduating from Cascade High School, he enrolled at Indiana Central-now the University of Indianapolis-where
he earned a BS in business and later an MBA from Indiana State University.
Having spent his entire career in the automotive industry, Reinbold is the principal of Indianapolis-based Dreyer and
Reinbold, Inc. He now oversees six BMW, Volkswagen, and Infiniti dealerships in Indianapolis and Greenwood.
Fulfilling his love of driving racing cars, he founded Dreyer and Reinbold Racing in the Indy Racing League in 1999,
which he co-owns with former driver Robbie Buhl. Dennis continues his commitment to the University as an annual Named
Scholarship donor.

Lynn Youngblood
Lynn Youngblood, Ed.D., has more time for fishing now that he is retired, but for most of his 35 years at the
University he cast a long shadow. At one time or another, he was assistant to the president, director of
admissions, provost, vice president (when there was only one), and director of fund-raising. He resists
recounting tall tales from his tenure, preferring to stick to what he knows to be true. First, the most
important thing he ever did was recruit faculty members who were worthy of their students. Second, he always
kept in mind that what happens in the classroom is the central issue. Third, the campus may have changed a lot,
but faculty members and students are still dedicated, loyal people like the ones nearly 40 years ago. All in all,
that's a happy ending.
Lynn Youngblood started at UIndy as a student but eventually held nearly every top administrative job on campus.
His parents were graduates, as are his two daughters, and his grandfather attended the high school academy that was
part of the University at its founding. Included in his long history of service, Lynn has been an annual member of the
University's lead annual donor societies and recently endowed a scholarship in memory of his parents, Russell and Lorene
E. Youngblood.

Pat Watkins and Barbie (Clem) Watkins
Recent graduates Pat Watkins '99 and Barbie (Clem) Watkins '01 may have left campus only a few short
years ago, but their life at the University of Indianapolis did not stop after commencement. Both are active
in the local community where they represent the University as members of the President's Board of Advocates.
The Watkinses remain committed to providing UIndy students with the same opportunities they enjoyed by
generously supporting both the Annual Fund and Greyhound Club.
