Paul W. Pielemeier

Paul taught in Knox County Schools for five years, and also worked as a social worker for the Knox County Department of Public Welfare. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII as a Classification Specialist between 1942 and 1945, with 21 months in the European Theatre.

Following the service, Paul worked in Indianapolis for the Veterans Administration as a Counselor, and in 1947 he began a 28 year tenure with Indiana Central College, now University of Indianapolis. For many years he was Director of Testing and Placement, as well as a teacher. During these years Paul also administered testing programs for the Life Insurance Institute, the National league for Nursing, and other program. Upon retirement from Indiana Central College, Paul worked part time for Invenchek of Atlanta, Georgia.

Paul was a long-time member of the Roberts Park United Methodist Church in Indianapolis where he served as an usher and member of the Official Board.
