Russell was a pastor for the United Methodist for more than 40 years, serving churches in Indiana and Lousville, Kentucky.
Lorene was an elementary school teacher for many years, primarily in Bloomfield, Indiana.
Russell and Lorene met as students at Indiana Central College in 1933.
